will 84 gn rods work in an 87 motor.

wich is better to build a 3.8 or 4.1.

Do a search for most info on 3.8 vs 4.1, I even posted the same question a while back. The rods are the same as long as they are 2 dot rods. Try not to use the three dots, as they are for naturally aspirated (non-turbo) motors.

Hi,
I agree that earlier rods will work.I have personally handled an 84 GN connecting rod, guaranteed to be a two dot special!
