I'm getting the rear brake lights working some time, the third light is working all of the time. The brake switch has two plugs. one has three wires: orange Hot, white, and blue/black tracer. the blue/black goes to the rear brake lights ( i think ) the switch is working, i'm getting a test light every time to the blue/black wire, but some times no rear brake lights.

The other two wires brown and ??? i do not know were they go from the other plug.
Could there be a bad ground back at the rear ?? On the wiring diagram shows a ground for each light. where is the ground wiring located.

The turn signals work ok, the running lights are ok, just the brake lights.

Any ideas ????
Thanks :( :(

Usually when the brake lights do not work on a "G" body car, the problem is in the harness where the turn signal switch plugs into the body harness at the bottom of the steering column. The white wire on the inside of the bend in the harness usually pulls out of the harness and the brake lights do not work. You can rejoin the white wire to its partner in the other connecter and fix your problem.
