OK hi all
Hers my problem :
Changed over from Kene Belle Headers to stock and now have over boosting problems.Boosting to 20 lbs within 2 to 3 seconds of WOT. LOts of Knock
Heres what I have done so far to narrow problem down:
Wired waste gate open result: boost rises slowly but still goes to 12lbs.no knock
Dropped exhaust at trans hanger (no CAT on car) result: boost slowly to around 10lbs.no knock
currently waiting for turbo to cool down to remove elbow and check puck hole.
The car will build no boost against the brake with the waste gate wired open.
which i think is correct. It will only build boost when driving down the road.
Question will the turbo build boost even with the waste gate wired open?and if so how much?
