Boost/Launch?

Last night I tried to see how much boost my brakes would hold and they held 12lbs. but I was getting some pinging. Does the computer know to give it more gas if my MPH stay at 0? I'm getting LS1 MAF and T+, would this help at all? Thanks

I believe your computer doesn't care what MPH your at. Its just reading the sensors from the engine compartment and trying to make it run efficiently.

You need to slap some slicks on and see what kind of lauch you get at 12lbs. That is great. What torque convertor are you using?

What kind of brakes are you running? I can only get about 4psi before my brakes give . I would love to build at least 10psi. Thanks

Thanks guys. Honestly guys, I really don't know the convertor or brakes exactly. I think I got a 2800 stall. The only thing that looks different is that I have aluminum drums. They're probably off an S-10. I bought the car already built up. I assume it's a 2800 stall because I've got a TE60. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
