Boost Gauge Unstable

I was running at the track tonight and turned up my boost for the first time over 18psi. Before my boost came on and was pretty stable. Now when it gets to over 20psi the boost gauge flutters rapidly between 20-25 psi. Also I couldn't turn up the boost anymore. My setup is:

TE-60 turbo with wastegate ported
HD Wastegate
Manual Boost Controller
Gbody downpipe
TA Headers
GN1 FMIC
TR6
SD2

I'm unable to read the log, but the te-60 should have no problem reaching 30#s and with the hd w/gate would make it more difficult to maintain low boost levels. The porting can help or hinder w/controlling boost. You may need to check that the w/g puck is actually sealing, or being forced open due to too much play in the arm.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at it yesterday and there was some weld slag on the end of the downpipe arm. I ground it down and lubed it with nickel anti seize. I also put more preload in the gate. She hits 30 psi no problem now.
