boost commander going bad

explain exactly whats happening.

In all the years we made the BstC, I don't think I had a single one go bad. Most likely you have a connection issue, bad solenoid, or bast wastegate.

as soon as the boost get over 17# or higher it will stay there for a little then lose all boost fuel stay up till the boost drop down first

generally speaking, the solenoid (and therefore the BstC) is used to raise the boost from its 'base' pressure to about 1.5 x the base pressure.

so if the solenoid or BstC fail, the boost should drop to the base pressure which is usually 13 psi on these cars, or higher.

If the boost is dropping below the base pressure. then it may be something else.

So, if you can see how far the boost drops, that will help diagnose. Also, be sure that you are not leaning out.

Do you have a scanmaster or other scantool/logging method?

is there a way to by pass the solenoid

if you unplug the wires from the solenoid, the boost should be 13 - 15 psi.

make sure all of your wastegate hoses are in good condition.

tell us more about the car, and any modifications.
