my buddy pulled his rear end out of his 87 gn to sand blast and paint and re-installed it. Bled the rear brakes by pumping up and opening bleeder. brake pedal is still low. Is there a specail procedure for bleeding the rears and does he need to bleed the fronts. thanks.Rich.

Did you adjust the brakes on the replacement rear? When you say the brakes are low, do they pump up? If so, you need to bleed them again.

He adjusted them tight but the pedal is still low. Is there any specail procedures for bleeding other than pump pedal hold and open bleeder.

I just read the article. Even if just the rear portion was opened up the plunger on the proportioning valve needs to be held in to properly bleed the brakes?
