Blazer check engine ??

Anyone know if it is possible to do the "paper clip" trick to check computer codes in a '98 Blazer? If so, which connectors do you plug into, and will it blink a number three times at the start before giving trouble codes?? Thanks in advance.....Moose.

Dont think it is possible on a obd II system. Run it by autozone and they will usually check your codes for ya. I know I said autozone :biggrin: buy hey it's free.

I know those 4.3 vortecs were know for sticking EGR valves.

X2 it's not possible on OBD II system cars and trucks, and yes Autozone will do you a free diagnostic test........in hopes you end up buying parts from them.
