Best bet for external wastegate?

I think that I may go to an external gate.

What have you guys used and to what degree of success.
(where are the w/g mounted, what dp, what size w/g [600hp] and any other tips)
I thought about a dual port gate, and an innovative controller.

I would like to get something with rock solid boost control.
any help is much appriciated

where is a good place to put it, use the hole in the housing (ATR DP301) or putting it in the crossover pipe, or on the collector just before the turbo?

Racegate, period... And DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR CROSS OVER PIPE. THis should be mounted in a location after all exhaust pulses have merged. Like before the base of the turbo or use a downpipe that facilitates external..

I am using a Deltagate and have it mounted under header flange at the base of the turbo. Works well for me.

Turbonetics just released a new gate, for all of you big players out there

It's called a NewGen wastegate, totally different design from standard poppet style WG.

It uses a swing valve design with a 2" Inconel valve assembly, billet cap and cast stainless base.

It also has a V Band type clamp for mounting and easy removal.

The best part is, in testing it outflowed the nearest competitor by 50% and capable of supporting 1000+ HP.
