Balancing

I recently bought some 235/60/15's BFG TA's and put on about 3,000 miles. Lately I would get a vibration in the car so I brought it to a different place to have the wheels rebalanced. Three wheels needed 8oz of weight and the fourth needed 20oz!!!!!!!!! My question is, are BFG's that bad or are the stok wheels off?

Drew if the tire shop used to much tire soap or the wrong type of lubercant.
When mounting the tires ,they may have rotated on the rims.
Just get them rebalanced
I always use a tire marker from under the car and make and index mark on the tire and rim after the new tires are installed so I can monitor this and make sure it was not just a case of a bad balance job.. hope this helps

Yeah that's what I did. I was surprised to find out how much weight they had to add. Vibration is gone which is the most important thing
