Looks like no one else is going to step in, so here's an inexpert answer:
I believe the primary difference is a smaller 2nd gear servo on the BQ; also, it may not have a hardened stator support or drum.
There is a post in this forum (listing part numbers and a source) for a good DIY rebuild. Bigger servo with that rebuild should make the BQ at least the equivalent of a stock BRF. I don't know how long either will live in the 10's.
Truly gofast parts mods are shown in Bruce's sticky at the top of the forum... Some of the stock internals don't like to be pushed. (As I plan to build my own trans, I have Chris's book on order).
Or, give it to one of the forum listed expert builders for the upgrading/strenghtening.
