Astroroof adjustment?

I pulled the entire Astroroof assembly out to replace the roached, original weatherstrip and to put a slider back in that the previous owner had removed & lost. Problem now is that the sunroof panel is about 1/16"-1/8" shy of going flush with the roof.

I worked with the guide adjustment screws and have the guides pushed up as high as they'll go apparently. The glass is straight and pretty well centered but just won't come all the way up. It was nice and flush with the old weatherstrip. Suggestions?

I realize that the Astroroof is uncommon but isn't there nobody out there who has worked on one?

I think if the old seal fit fine you may need to give it some time or even easier a lubricant to allow the glass slide along the seal. The original seal has a tendancy to grip. I spent quite a few hours with astro roof seals lately.
