I have a brand new ArtCarr 9.5" lockup Torque Converter, custom built for a 3000-3500 stall (500-550HP BB). It fits the 200-4R. $485.00 from ArtCarr.

I had to go with a 12" 2500 stall so this was overkill for my mild 327.

It was purchased a couple of years ago but never installed.

PN: 14131 on Art Carr's site.

I'll take $350.00 shipping if anyone needs it.

Reply here, Email, PM for cell if you want to talk. PayPal ok.

I can take a photo tonight. It's a 9.5" black torque converter so not much to look at... I'll even wipe off the dust.

I need to weigh it tonight but figure 30-35.00... or let's call it 375.00 shipped.

I do have an Ebay account but I can take PayPal or even credit card payments if you want as I have a Merchant account with PayPal, registered business for many years and can run it through that if needed.

I'll take photos and weigh it this evening and post it all here.

The art Carr website states that this part number can be custom stalled from 2,500 - 3,500 rpm. Do you have confirmation as to what this was stalled at? I'm not swishing your time just so you know I'm Seriously interested, just trying to confirm a couple of things prior to committing. I hope you can appreciate that. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Actually it can be stalled from 2400-5000... per their site:

14131 - 2004R CONVERTER LOCK-UP "SUPER TORQUE" WITH FAB COVER (9.5" DIA CUSTOM STALLED)

Your Price: $485.00

2004R CONVERTER LOCK-UP "SUPER TORQUE" WITH FAB COVER (9.5" DIA CUSTOM STALLED)
Super Torque – (Rated to 600 HP) The converters use a 9.5” body, fabricated front cover, anti-balloon plates, fully furnace brazed, and Torrington roller bearings. All of the converters are custom stalled from a range of 2400-5500 RPM.

I actually talked to Alan Hartmann, the owner of ArtCarr in Abilene, Texas yesterday to have him resend me a copy of the invoice (for my 200-4R and the converter) as it is MIA. He was short handed and is supposed to get it to me Monday.

I don't mind sharing that with you if I can indeed get it from him. I'll double check but I think it's actually stamped on the converter...again when I get home I'll check it.

Ok.. more info and pics:

1. It weighs 32 lbs so figure 35 is safe and my freight quote earlier was based on that.

2. It is stamped 3100 which would be about right for a 3000-3500 stall since many things actually affect stall rates.

3. UPDATE: I may have lost track of this converter... I need to reverify the PN with AC on Monday.. this may very well be one of the 845.00 billet converters (HD SUPER TORQUE" WITH BILLET COVER (9.5" DIA CUSTOM STALLED)... I've had several and have slept since then. It's stamped 14031 but I can't remember if that's their old PN for the fab converters like I think this is or it's actually one of the billet models which the PN corresponds with on their website. Too many projects and too much time has passed. Let me get with Art Carr Monday to verify this PN.

Now that I'm looking at it again... I think this is the billet HD version, if it is then I'd have increase the price as I paid quite a bit more for it. I'd probably sell it for $700.00 shipped.... but let me verify this first.

I apologize for the confusion, old age I guess. Hold tight until Monday and I'll get this cleared up.

Anyway.. I digress... here's a few pics:

Ok. I caught one of the guys at AC this morning and yes it is the billet HD Super Torque converter that is 845.00 new. Told him the stamp was 3100 and he verified that was correct for a 3-3500 stall depending HP etc.

So. My bad. Obviously I should have pulled it from the shelf and verified it first. I would sell it for 700.00 shipped but visit the link above for the product description before buying. Will handle up to 1000HP but will not lock up at WOT over 500HP which is what you want for that level of performance.

in the elevens had to bow out, so whoever wants it... $700.00 shipped.

Read the post above.

I've had 3 of the 2004R's, a couple of 700R4's, a TH350 and a TH400 sitting around for projects over the past 3 years and quite frankly I thought I had already sold my billet HD Super Torque converter ... well, just look at the pics in the ad that I just posted... billet back cover. Old age and too many projects.... hence the confusion about what I have.
