Often discussed topic but I am looking for a definitive answer. Are these the same cam, just different branding? Availability and price from Summit makes it attractive but want to make sure they are identical.

Not looking to debate the pros/cons of this cam or the need for a cam upgrade.

I'm quite sure they are the same. Just some info for you: I bought a $49.95 cam from Performance Automotive Warehouse and it was EXACTLY the same cam as the Speedpro cam. The same casting, with the same #s, even the same paint marks and colors that identify the cam. They are just marketed thru different venders. I can't say this for all the venders, but this was my experiance. Good luck, Jeff

these cams are one in the same(204-214). Reds Hot Air confirmed them and has used the cam in his car to run 127mph. I bought mine from a local speed shop for $49.99 with lifters. Reds Hot Air last posted he is looking to put in a bigger cam.:D

Just my .02
