Hi All, Has anyone ever painted the front wheel wells while they are in the car? If so any secrets? What kind of paint did you use etc etc? I have the front radiator support out of car now getting painted and have access to both and want to make them look all nicey nice. Any tips, help or suggestions I would appreciate. Thank you.

I did mine when I rebuilt the front end last year. It was really easy with no control arms, springs, brakes, etc on the car, but I just basically taped up the body and anything I didnt want overspray on and covered everything in a satin black. I lightly scuffed with a gray scotchbrite pad and then wiped with cleaner/alcohol before spraying. It really makes a huge difference when the car has clean wheelwells, well worth the time in my opinion.
