anyone ever had a Translator go bad?

I'm thinking this could be the problem...the car keeps throwing error code 34 and I have replaced the MAF twice with new LS1 sensors and I doubt the ECM just died within an hour or so of working just fine. The car starts and idles fine, but as soon as you put it in gear, it dies. I'm gonna check the ECM with a known good one, but if that doesn't fix it, what else could it be?

I am having the exact same problem with mine! I think I might have fried my translator because I took the cover off it and there was water in it. They don't seal the case of it so check that. I dried mine out and sprayed contact cleaner on it but I think it might be shot. If you wash your motor at all, this may be you problem because I think its mine...
