Anybody know who owns this BA?!?!?!?!?! Wicked GN

Yeah, I watched some more videos on youtube and found one with that car and his name. That sounds like a v8. Does anybody know anything about that setup?

Those were my rims and tires on the car during that video...

Chris Chow's Combination:
-Duttweiler 390ci SBC
-Twin Precision GT42 74MM
-MoTeC M48 Pro
-Chance Converter
-Mike's Monster Glide
-Currie 9 Inch
-Wolfe Stock Suspension

~1850HP with about 10psi left on Kenny's Dyno.

The car went 7.9 @175 back in 2005 before having
a chance to get the chassis set up.
No traction or slew control...

Ive seen some people on different boards talk about building up a GN engine, and swapping in a built v8. Is it cheaper to build a v8 vs a gn engine that can hold the same power?

It all depends on what you are trying to do.
For what we wanted to do, the V6 would not make the power.
Our target was to have 2000hp on kill.

The V8s are stronger, cheaper and easier to find parts for
something over 1000hp. Now there are a lot of people making
a lot of power with the v6 right now Galina, Gomes and Ficus come to mind.
In most heads up (non buick classes) you can't get the Buick lite enough to be competitive with the other combinations.

I don't see anything wrong with that! It's still a GM product and I was weaned on Chevys when I was growing up and IMHO Chevrolet makes one of the best V8 engines in the USA.
