Any buick GS gurus here?

I have a set of sport mirrios I bought years ago. When I got them the seller claimed they were GM A-body mirrors........fit chevelle, cutlass, skylark, gto, lemans........

I bought them to use on my chevelle, which they do not fit.

I remember the seller saying they came off a 72 buick GS, is there any way to verify this? Anyone know what they will fit on?

I never had sport mirrors on my GS clone but possibly the reason they don't work may be the gasket. They tip the mirror one way or the other as on our Regals. Not sure if all A-body mirrors are the same.

I have all hardware with the mirrors. I also have a chevelle drivers side mirror. Angle on base of arm is diffrent.
I know most of the F body mirrors bolt from the inside.......these don't. Not sure what they are??
