Just so you all know, I did a search under Xylene first.

I was wondering if anyone had tried using plastic fuel line like what Ford uses for it's fuel lines. That way it may save the trouble of replacing metal fuel lines due to a 30% Xylene/gas mix. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking preventive measures. I have a 69 Skylark that I'll be running the 30% Xylene mix in. I figure I'll replace it in advance and then not worry about it. Just wondered if anyone knew if this is a good or bad idea.

I don't understand what your trying to prevent? Xylene is a componant of gasoline. Your just upping the percentage of it. Methonal is corrosive though.

Yea thats what I meant. I was thinkin he was concerned about plastic fuel lines.. He was worried about metal.

Thanks for the answer guys. I thought in larger concentrations the Xylene would be more corrosive. This makes my plans easier.
