adjustable wastegate

When I got my car I was told that it was bone stock. However, my friend swears it has an adjustable wastegate. It does have a threaded rod and some nuts on it. How can I tell if it is?

Sounds adjustable to me.
Loosen the nut, pull the rod off the arm and shorten it to increase boost, lengthen it to decrease.

Yep, you have an adjustable wastegate. I guess that would make it less than "bone stock". You could also take a look at the chip in the ecm to see if it has an upgrade.

Are you concerned about it being 100% stock? If so, it should be easy to pick up a stock wastegate.
