Accel dfi gen 6 need input???

Hi guys and gals
A friend of mine gave me a accel dfi gen 6 for free and i whant to know is this better then my stock ecm ??? What can it do??? And is it hsrd to work with???

Not something I would use, buy, or sell.

1st, no longer can you call him a friend.
2nd , it can drive larger injectors without being modded .
3rd Not able to use a Scanmaster with it.
4th Needs a older laptop with the software or some way of making a new computer communicate with it.
5th Would rather a car have a stock ECM any day over that "box."

So you can sell it to the guy in Chicago with the LC2 powered CTS. Tommy is his name. He is the only person I know that would buy it, and still speak to you afterwards.

The 2 tone Heath Elmer's car had one. Finally it was removed and replaced with a stock ecm. The DFI was an orphan around here. No one would touch it. After it was replaced the car never ran better!

I have a Gen 6, too. I wasn't as fortunate; I couldn't find someone to give mine to. Probably better off that way, don't want someone coming back to saying why did you give me that piece a shit..... In the computer world that thing is ancient! Belongs in the Smithsonian next to the dinosaurs.... Use the stock ecm or go with a fast xfi.
