i was washing the car the other day and noticed a small crack in my driver a-pillar up near the lead seam. i have polly body mounts and the rear seat braces. will the engine strap help any with what i'm assuming is body flex? are there any other ways to strenghthen the body besides the under hood braces and an role cage? can i completely box the frame?

thanks for any suggestions

Thats what i was thinking about doing to my car getting some 1/8 in thick steel and spacing them out on the frame my dad said that the older convertibles were built with a boxed frame and that they were alot stronger
