a perfect fit for the dash?

i had a pair of kicker 3.5 put in my dash they dont fit thier to high and push up on the dash grill does anyone know of a speaker that has a good fit without mods for a 87 gn thanks

Stock size sadly...Unless u pull the dash out and cut the dash up a little but it all depends on how far you want to go. They sell some pretty good stockers though.

I have a pair of denons that might fit without mods.. if interested, I'll try them in the next day or so and let you know.

I put mine in through the hole and mounted them underneath. It gave me just enough room for the cover.
I'm pretty sure i even put a couple of washers between the speaker and the mating surface to bring them down a bit more.
I was lucky enough to install them while my windshield was out.
