A little help or some tips....

I am in the process of installing the 2.5" Hooker Cat Back from Summit and I am having a tough time getting the pipes into the Mufflers (Aerochambers). Is there a trick to getting these things on the pipes?

i dont know of any tricks but did you try some lube? i remember my atr being a tight fit as well.

I tried Di electric Grease and then a lil Vasoline... all to no avail. Maybe I just have to keep at it :smile:

Try removing any sharp edges with a die grinder or file and put a slight radius inside the opening of the muffler.

AGREED

Try twisting while moving it around - once it gets started it should slide around easier
