I just purchased this car two weeks ago. One of the little issues it had was the fuel gauge was all over the place and read a max of half full and as low as 1/4. I was went to Oreilly's and purchased a new fuel sender dropped my tand installed it. Now it reads from empty to only 3/4 tank which is better, but the new sender has a whining noise which is driving me mad. It only seems to annoy me. I may drop it and use a bunch of dynamat extreme to quiet it down. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

...better to put in general tech forum. anyway the noise is from the pump. my car also only goes to about 3/4 but i don't care...i'm too busy beating on it and filling it with gas and alky
