I'm by no means a TR/GN expert, but I think the problem is that $14,500 is a good chunk to pay for a GN that needs a tranny rebuild. With a rebuilt/upgraded tranny I think you could pull around your current asking price.

We did anticipate having to take less than asking price, because of the car
needing a trans rebuild, and would consider offers accordingly.
