86 Regal VS 2000? GTP

Off the line the GTP had me but I shifted at 6,000 r.p.m. 1st 2nd and 3rd. I stayed with him in 1st and second, but I started pulling away in 3rd. Had to slow down cuz Brandon traffic sucks. Im not sure how old the GTP was but It was probably the 240 hp one. My motor stock made 115 hp. (81" 267) Im losing Hp because of my huge exaust, and I have a small, header gasket leak.
Stock block with over 100,000 Miles
SBC 267
Crane cam,lifters, Pushrods, and Roller Rockers
Ported 58 cc Heads
Jet coated Headman Headers
3 inch Dr.Gas Dual exaust w/ x pipe w/ flowmasters
Holly Intake, 600 dbl Pumper carb
700-r4 TCI full manual reverse valve bodie
10 bolt with Posi & 3.73 gears
Autometer Phantom- Tach,oil pressure, temp

.....with a 383 on the way.
 
Nice kill... But why a 383???:confused: ... turbo 6 would work great, Silent but deadly is always kewl :cool:

Well right now Im living from pay check to pay check. I let my friend borrow $400 bucks to pay his car payment a year ago, and now hes finnaly making good on paying me back. Well he started to scrap out his 11 second camero(and it was running on 6 cylinders....:)) for reasons I can't even begin to comprehend. So Im getting his shortblock:((he had sportsman 2's) + Fluiddamper+ some other running gear **** for real cheap.
