86 Buick Regal Grand National clone. 3.8 liter turbocharged and intercooled v6, 200r4 4 speed automatic transmission. Automatic climate control, digital dash, concert sound, rear defog, t- tops, cruise, power windows and locks, power driver side seat. 125k miles on the body according to the cluster. 42k miles on the drivetrain according to the previous owner. Engine, transmission, and limited slip rear was removed from a rust bucket low mileage one owner 86 T-Type. Body is a 86 Regal Limited coupe that originally came with a 307. At some point in its life, it became a Grand National clone. The title is branded as salvage rebuilt. The t tops leak, rattle, and create wind noise. The body does have some rust in the floors I assume from the t tops. The rest of the body is in pretty good shape which makes me think it was not a northern car. At some point the brake lines have been repaired near where the rust spot in the driver side floor is. I had the body shop fix some dings and dents and then paint it with a nice quality base/clear coat. It has not been wet sanded, buffed, or recleared yet, but looks very nice the way it is. The body shop said it would look 100% nicer with wet sanding and more clear coat, but for a driver quality car it probably is too nice already. The interior is in pretty good shape. It has aftermarket seat covers that aren't exactly the right shade of gray but are still presentable. The climate control is finicky and rarely works the way it is supposed to. The power antennae doesn't work and neither does the cruise. The air conditioner lines are missing but the system appears complete otherwise. The car runs and drives well. No smoke or strange noises. The transmission shifts like it is supposed to and the converter locks. It is mostly stock with the exception of an adjustable wastegate actuator, accufab adjustable fp regulator (going to install this weekend when I do spring cleaning), Hooker 2.5 catback kit, suspect the converter has been gutted, hotwired Walbro 340, and turbo tweak chip. It has a nearly new set of matching Cooper tires. The wheels are in what I would call fair shape. They have some rust, scratches, and dings. Overall, I'm sure I have described this car as a complete turd. It is not. I want to be completely honest with everything I know about the car. I have not had it very long and I am only selling it because the car I have been trying to buy for 10 years has just come available. As with any car I own and sell, I want the buyer to be pleasantly surprised that the car is nicer in person than what I have described. To demonstrate my confidence in this car, I am willing to deliver it to a major airport nearest to you within 1000 miles for free. The car averaged over 20mpg and is reliable as anything I own. I am happy to take more pictures or answer any questions about the car. I am selling it for less than I have invested. Final price drop. Probably the cheapest intercooled car around. $7500. Call or text (preferred as I'm not always able to answer the phone) Sharif at 919-697-7262. Car is located in central NC.
