86/87 turbo fitment?

Hey guys, been a long time.

Did a few searches and didn't find the answer to my question. Will the 86/87 turbos fit in the stock location without too many problems? The turbo will be reclocked for a front mount IC, so maybe I should just be asking ahout the hotside of the turbo.

TA-49

I know guys have used the TA-49 on a stock manifold Hot Air. You just need to reclock. However I'm not sure how you need your to exit for your piping to the intercooler. I would think you could achieve what you need by simply reclocking and may changing your intercooler piping.

The intercooler setup is already in place. I had it hooked up with my stocker. I would have just checked the 86/87 fitment, but I'm a couple hundred miles away from the car. Thanks alot for your help.
