Hi,
I can pick up a 200R4 out of a 86 or 87 Olds Cutlass 442, from a guy I know, I know the Valve Body codes are different, I read somewhere, but are they still usuable or a waste of time? I rode in a 85 442 one time bone stock and that Car shifted hard, I was pretty impressed with it. Just wondering if it could be used sucessfully as a Replacement for the 86/87 BRF 200R4 spec tranny? Any info I would appreciate! Thanks!:D

Good Stuff!!

That's a good core to start with. Calibration should be close to the brf. you'll need to swap the intermediate servo's for sure. The brf servo is bigger. I believe that the 442 core is set up for 3.73 gears.

Thanks!

Hey Mike,
Thats Good News, your right about the Rear Being a 3.73 8.5 I am trying to get that too! Thanks for the info Mike!!!:D
