85 and 87 Used GN parts for sale - gauging interest

OK, please be patient - never done this before.

I have a selection of 1985 and 1987 used GN parts stored in Florida. I can meet any buyer in South West Florida or ship to the lower 48. I can also transport most items to Canada for shipping in April to Canadian locations. I have never arranged to ship anything so this is a learning curve for me. At this point I am looking to gauge interest and then I can decide whether it is worthwhile to follow through or just let the stuff gather dust.

The parts are the result of a failed project to convert an 85 GN to an 87. The guy doing this gave up and sold to a buddy of mine here in Florida, who is letting me dispose of them. I have pictures of everything and can post if anyone is actually interested. Electronic items (sensors/alternators/generators/wiring) have not been tested but were working when removed.

Here is the list:

1987 GN

1 - rear seat back
2- pass seat
3 - drivers seat w/electronic parts - no motor
4 - wiring harness w/sensors
5 - inter-cooler core
6 - radiator
7 - pass side rocker cover with breather
8 - power steering reservoir


1985 GN
1 - wiring harness complete with sensors
2 - power steering assembly
3 - L and R headers
4 - alternator
5 - generator
6 - MAF and cold air induction filter and pipes


I also have two tote boxes of brackets/bolts/hoses etc. along with other engine compartment fiber pieces (such as AC box/heater cover) that I have not cataloged yet.

Yes it is the engine wiring harness - here are three pictures No idea what to ask - looking for a fair price - how about 20% less than any other price you can find online? Will have to check out shipping once we reach agreement. Likely US Postal Service - i have purchased stuff before but never sold. i was always happy with USPS and hated the extra UPS fees - especially when receiving in Canada.

Seats are structurally sound and material would have to be replaced - Kirban currently has the correct material for an 87.
No idea as to price - make me an offer - can deliver to Bradenton in mid Feb.

I don't think the harness in your picture is 1987 it should look like this

If it is the 85, then I have the 87 elsewhere - I thought it was an 87 because of the sensors. Here are the pics of both engine wiring harness sets. I own and 84 so both are a little foreign to me. Before the week is out I will dig out both and look for some identifiers.

Looking for a little nicer that are usable as is. Sorry but I'm gonna pass, but how about those door panels, are they for sale?

I only have the bottom Concert Sound panels (driver and passenger). I had one upper but it was crap and went to the big GN scrap heap in the sky. If you are interested, both lower panels are for sale.

I will dig them out tomorrow and take better pictures of the two side by side.

The only ones I can find are on eBay for $440 - which is insane. I will ask 20% less than the best price you can find on the internet. The drivers side has the door lock switch and the pass mirror escutcheon.
