84 buick t type?

Hey this might sound like a dumb question but I have no experience with the hot air cars I have an 87 gn but my friend just bought an 81 regal with An 84 gn drive train just wondering what the stock boost is for an 84 gn

5 to 7 psi should be safe on todays gasoline, the factory settings were for 10-12 psi spike on acceleration then it pulled back to 5-7 psi after 2nd gear.

Ok thanks for your help also not to sure about this one the car has an air intake on it and it dose seem to be building boost but unlike my 87 when you let off there is not flutter is this normal for these cars?
