b4black Well-Known Member Joined May 24, 2001 Sep 7, 2001 #4 I think those codes are for the whole transmission and not just the valve body. I have heard the same, that all 84/87 have the BRF, but the '83 didn't. I sure somebody in the Trans Forum could confirm this.
