Norbs put a non ported compressor housing on your 71GTQ and call it a day. You have not maxed out that turbo yet. What you have is more then enough to get you in the 9's. Are you just out for that time slip, or does your streetability account for anything????

I am gonna order that housing for now. Thanks for the help

Well, i got my gt42-76 thursday, the vendor went out of his way to resolve our issue , he even shipped it on his dime !

I don't need you to blame me, I already have a wife! ;)
If you have the chance I would loosen up the converter to 4000.
Since you are going with bigger heads and came, the engines stall should go up with the same converter.

I agree. At least 4000 stall. I was running 235 ci (new one is 231) with an old T76 Q trim, .82 AR and about 3200 stall with nitrous injection. The nitrous was switched to shut off at 16 psi, which brought me to around 4400 rpm. The turbo took over with a very slight drop in pull during the transition. I would probably move closer to 4250 with no nitrous assist.

Did anyone figure out how to calculate the equivalent A/r of the divided housing vs. undivided housing numbers.
