$750.00 for a rebuilt Hot-AIr turbo???

I think mine was 400-500 for a rebuilt one, came with warrenty though, always nice to have on these cars

thats about what ATR charges....hell the only turbo specific for the hotairs is the TE-33C which is basically a TA49 and costs about $830

Wow! I'll stick to the 86/87's.. Damn, I had no idea the 84/85 turbos were that expensive!

Contact John Craig for the TA33. A bolt on turbo. Approx cost $850

Couldn't John also rebuild a stocker (HotAir) to TA49 specs? Wouldn't it be easier just to buy a used TA49 and just change the housing?
