700r4 won't upshift into drive WOT

Hey Chris,

I blocked the govener as you requested. It basically made the trany like a manual valve body so it drive it wouldn't down sift and so on. Anyway, it acted fine under part throttle (as usuall) but under WOT it held 2nd until I got out of it. It didn't mater where I sifted at, as long as the pedal was on the floor, it wasn't sifting.

Any Ideas???

SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM W/THE 2/3 SHIFT TV VALVE AND SLEEVE.TRY INSTALLING ONE FROM ANOTHER VALVE BODY AND MAKE SURE THE TV UPSHIFT VALVE HAS A SPRING ON IT.POST RESULTS.

Hey Chris,

Chad tore the trany down tonight to stick the imput shaft and drum that I purchased in it. He says the Forward cluch Piston (if that's what it's called?) is to small to slide over the shaft in the drum. Do you know what pistion we need for the torque drive shaft and drum? If you could get me part number that would be great.
