6x9 bass?

When you install the 6x9" speakers with the adapters and everything, is the bass response any good? I'm thinking of purchasing a pair of Infinity Reference 6x9" speakers with a JBL amp to give 'em juice....think it would sound pretty good? I don't really want to put subwoofers in the car, so I'm just wondering how all of you guys with 6x9's like the sound?

It can be. You have to make sure you seal the speakers to the car. Closed cell weather stripping found at any harware store works good. Key is to isolate the inside of the woofer from the outside.
