I too, have wondered about this. My DD is a Pontiac G-8 that came with that transmission.. Considerations that come to mind: 1 It is large, and might take some floorpan/tunnel work for it to fit, 2)will it handle the output of our cars? 3) it has it's own computer inside--what kind of control system would it take?
