55# injectors. What size fuel pump 340m?

I picked up a set of 55# siemens inectors. Wondering if a 340 fuel pump will be enough. Going to hotwire it as well.

A regular Walbro 255lph pump is enough for the 55's. The pump you show there, the 340lph pump is more than enough and will require you increase your fuel return line (in most cases). The 255lph pump does not require that.

Derek, while you have the fuel hanger out, cut the restriction off the end of the fuel tube directly above the pump. It will give you a little more volume of flow. Use the 255lph pump.

Ok thanks guys, reason i initially thought of the 340 pump was because i was doing alot of reading and trying to simulate this combo i found that everyone considered highly reliable. All I need is the fuel pump and I'm complete.

So the 255 is good enough then? awesome I dont want to run any fuel lines...

I have 60's with an Aeromotive 340 Stealth. It works great at 21 psi. I also have a hot wire kit and racetronix upgraded sending unit though

Im I going to notice a huge gain with the 340 over the 255? My goals are 11's mods as listed.
