this transmission has been good to me. after having to re-build my fully roller fully built 200r4 like 10 times I decided to buy this setup. transmission has held up well at about 950 flywheel hp from my stage 2 engine.
I am selling this as Im building a 69 Camaro turbo lsx with a th400

We purchased a turbo buick from Kenny Duttweiler that had this transmission in it.

Do you have your 400 yet? i have a Fenny Brown with a brake, just not a good
street trany with 355 gears. maybe do some trading. Also looking for an XFI.

Are you kidding me with that bottom video!!!? Thats by far the coolest thing I've seen in a while! Was that with this trans by chance?
 
A friend of mine had a stock one of these behind his turbo T/A that made about 800rwhp. He ran 146 in the 1/4. Always shifted quick and hard. Just to show what these transmissions can do. GLWS!
 
Yes they are good transmissions I got tired of always having an issue with the 200r4. I always had one issue or another. with the 4l80e I don't have any issues, its really a good solution to the small 200r4. I had good luck with the 200r4 till about 650rwhp after that I had slipping clutches.
 
Did this ever sell? I remember seeing it over the summer when I was between jobs. Got a new job now :cool:
 
Nice Set up
Got a pretty nasty dodge pickup that kept destroying the mopar tranny's for the previous owner, The local racer / builder installed a 4l80e, + never had another problem, that was about ten yrs ago + the thing still works like a charm.
Google Hughes Performance to get an idea how strong the 4l80e is, they call it the strongest overdrive trans available.
They make conversion kits now to put these trans in just about everything.
