4 wide at Zmax raceway this weekend!!

I was getting information overload.
Was there a good explanation of the staging system? I must have missed it

They explained it, but not very well.

Assuming you're looking at the tree for lanes 1-2, the top row of blues were
there to let drivers 1-2 know where drivers 3-4 were at in the staging process. The drivers in 1-2 use their normal amber pre stage/stage lights.

The outer blues represented pre staging of lanes 3-4 respectively, and the inner blues represented lanes 3-4 were fully staged.

The blues in lanes 3-4 represented where drivers 1-2 were at in the staging process, outer blues=pre staged and inner blues=staged.

I know it is confusing at first, I hope I explained it clearly.

It was obvious some of the drivers had a hard time focusing on reaction time with the new staging process.

I think Antron Brown pretty much summed it up during his interview. With so much racket around the starting line during the burnout procedure it's hard to get a feel for the car. On a tradition strip they almost always stagger their burnouts.

My good friend on Screaming Eagle #2 totally misread the staging sequence and sat for almost 2 seconds on a green light start.
