My car started having this problem a week or so ago. All lights work correctly and have new bulbs installed. When I turn on the left blinker all is normal until I step on the brake pedal and the blinker stops blinking and goes solid. It returns to blinking normally after I let off the brake pedal. Had a look from the back today and the 3rd brake light is blinking when the left blinker is turned on. No other problems with any other lights. The right blinker works normal and the 3rd brake light does not blink when the right side signal is on.....
Any suggestions on where to look? I already tried moving the steering column up and down with no change. Are the 3rd brake light and blinker wires close to one another where I can get to them to see if they are melted together or something?
