This is a unit that was pulled from a wrecked GM truck with front end damage.
The production date on the case is 5/18/2009. The unit was removed from the vehicle in December 2010. This only had 17 months from production date to sold as used from a salvage yard, so there are likely very few miles on it.
These units new go for over $500 shipped. Check Summit, Jegs, etc.
This will be an upgrade for any other 28 spline GM 8.5" rear with 30 spline axles installed. You must get 30 spline axles for it to work in a GN rear!
