3"external DP or 3.5" internal DP---BEST???

Which is better for our combination(see Sig. below)?
3" external wastegate DP or a 3.5" internal wastegate DP?
Both are about the same $ and age.

This is hard to answer for a couple reasons.
You don't need a 3.5 inch pipe or an external wastegate.
A standard 3 inch internal would be more than enough for your combination.
I guess I would have to know what you are hoping to achieve from this "upgrade".

IF this "upgrade" is no going to help our combination.....then, saving money is more important for later use.
REASONS to replace our current DP:
1. To maximize our "present" combination.
2. "Room-to-Grow"---IF, we decide to go more radical in the future.

The 3.5 will not hurt your current combination or help it.
The external 3 will give you better control but if you are
not having issues with this now I am not sure that I would change things.

I don't think the 3.5 pipe will help you unless you are going to run a 65 to 68 turbine wheel and pretty hard.
My old motor went 135 with a 3inch external pipe. Unless you want to go 130 you won't need the bigger pipe.
At this point pick which gate type you prefer.

Have you port matched the turbine housing to the waste-gate puck?
It also helps when you radius the opening.

a 3.5" DP is a WASTE of money, i had one on my car and sold it just cuz i knew i didnt need it, i run a 3" THDP and couldnt be happier, people have been in the 9s with a 3" DP.....thats why the 3.5 is just a waste of money
