I just bought a 85 buick regal presidential edition...real nice car but id like more power. It has the 3.8 v6. i heard that using the 4.1 intake manifold and 4 bbl quadrajet carb helps. Is it realy worth it? How hard is this swap? can it be used wit the ecm? Anything else i can do? Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks in advance.

PS- Does anyone know the stock horsepower for this car?i heard 110 or 125

If you plan on keeping that engine then do the 4bbl swap. I did it and it made a big difference. The ecm is still functional as long as you get an electronic feedback qjet.

It's a very nice improvement, far more than I ever wold have expected. And far more than my TH-250C transmission wants to deal with, too.

Stock HP for the N/A 3.8 with a Duel Jet is 110......with a Q-Jet it is 125.
