Update*****

Hello all. My buick is gone (long sob story) and this is what's left of my project. I would prefer to sell all as a bundle, but I might be persuaded to sell pieces off. Parts were at a machine shop, blasted and checked. The crank snout was junk so I scrapped it. Here's what I have.

87 3.8 block from a t-type with 54k on it. Was std, is now rough bored, was going to to .020 over

Heads from that engine, they are dissembled but complete

Heads off a different 87 engine. These have minor port work done, I may have the springs and valves but I don't think so

Aluminum valve covers

Aluminum timing cover

Oil pan and pick up ****sold pending funds****

6 stock rods from the engine with 54k

New in the box Oliver rods. Basically factory replacements but take a heck of a lot more rpms, boost and power. ******sold pending funds*****

$550 for all of it

I really, really don't want to ship this stuff. I have no clue how to go about shipping the block. Cash and a hand shake are preferred. I'm willing to drive 100 miles from tucson az if you want to meet up.

Thanks for looking, I hope it helps someone get their ride back on the road.

Should you decide to part out i'll take the oil pan & Oliver rods (pending part number)

You are in Tucson?

How much would you let the block, stock front cover, and mildly ported heads with valvesprings go for? I can arrange for a freight pickup, so don't worry about shipping.

Does the block come with the stock caps? Anything else?

Thank you,
Tyler

Took a pic of the tag on the box, hope the part number is there. Shipping or pick up?

Ok I'd like to buy the pan+pickup & Oliver rods.
Need to go with shipping to 76065.

Interested in the block as well but pickup is to far, unless your planning a trip to Texas.....;)

I would love to go to Texas actually, a good buddy transferred there, I just don't think my old truck would like that trek lol. I'll work out shipping in a bit and pm you with a total. On a side note, I forgot that my daughter robed the sticker from the oliver rods, other than that, they're complete and new.

Let me look for the springs on the ported heads before I firm up a price. For my own knowledge, who ships like that? The block has stock caps and bolts only.

I use a freight company that I found through my work. They are like brokers but for freight liners. You give them the size/dimensions/weight of what you are shipping, and they find you the cheapest possible price to ship it.

Typically it ends up costing about $.15 - $.35/lb depending on what it is. Engine blocks I think were like $80-100 if you can palletize it.

I will buy all of it and arrange shipping if no one that is ahead of me has if there is some of it sold i will buy the block by its self also. Thanks call or text 270-300-8046

Also have some friends that might be able to bring the parts to the nationals for me.

If limited passes on the block I'm interested.

I'm in Phoenix.
