Hi,

Need to get new tires. I am thinkng about getting BF Goodrich TA Radials. They have a 295/50-16's for the rear. It is about 1.6 " taller than stock.

Anybody uses these size tires?

Will also go with 235/50 16's up front.

Thanks,

I ran the Radial TA's and I thought the traction was terrible and the treadwear was poor as well, might want to check into some 555R nittos or something like that, still acceptable rain traction but hooks like a mother;) A ways more pricey though...:frown: HTH

i agree. you'll just end up spinning the hell out of them even with the wide size you want. i had an 86 stang gt that i managed to fit a set of 275 50's on and with only headers and a kn filter the thing would spin them for ever and they wear fast. if you want a street radial with full tread look inti the mickey thomp they make a decent reg tire
