I recently got this 2015 SS 1LE Camaro on trade and not quite sure I'm going to use it anytime soon. The 1LE benefits from several suspension and interior upgrades. It has 426 Horsepower and 420 Torque. I'm building a 55 Chevy Truck and looking for a built Nailhead for it at this time. I have a 59 El Camino I was going to build next and use this Camaro for the drivetrain and other components but, I'm still a year or two from starting that project. Going to see if there is someone else who is building something and can use it more than I can at this time.
This car was recently sold by the insurance company, USAA, at auction for close to my asking price. This is practically a new car that was involved in a light rollover. Front airbags did not deploy. It is the lowest mileage suitable donor car I've seen. Unlike buying an engine and transmission off a pallet in a warehouse, you know this car only has 1500 miles and you can actually hear it run/drive!!! It has many other usable parts such as the suspension, exhaust, interior, dash, front airbags, sunroof etc. There is money to be made here if you decide you just want the engine and transmission and have the time to part out the rest. They sell bracket kits on ebay for $180 to use these Brembos on Chevelles, Novas and 67-69 Camaros. Last low mileage LS3/6 speed manual combo on ebay with comparative mileage sold on ebay in March for $12999 alone.
I'm willing to personally deliver the car along the I5 corridor between Seattle, Washington and San Diego, California for a very reasonable fee. Delivery to other Western States negotiable. Car will easily run and drive onto transporter of your choice if you are located in the Midwest or East Coast.
