200r scratching noise... need advice

when i put my TR in gear there is a "scratching" noise coming from under the car. it only does it in a movable gear. noise goes away in P and N . a friend thinks its the converter but he said i should ask the "TR Guys" here first. fluid looks fine. no metallic look to it like if metal was in fluid. trans still pulls good and still breaks tires loose on 1st to 2nd shift when i'm on hard but sometimes the rpm's rev up high after the shift has completed and tires have caught traction but not always. Bad tv cable ? burnt clutch ? converter ? need advice. thanks

Converter or pr valve depending on the noise which we cannot hear. Best bet is converter tho...
Ck flex plate bolts for loose or hitting something else, it is a reach but I have seen it before.Rare but possible. Take off dust cover and see if noise changes or gets louder softer or just changes.

Sounds like converter is rubbing on something tho.

does the converter move when in movable gears ? cause as i said. it only does it in a movable gear ...in P and N it goes away. I will check bolts etc...
