THE DEAL OF A LIFETIME

This is a 1987 Grand National body SHELL (see pics) that I purchased off eBay 2 years ago. I planned to restore my T-Type that I bought from Michigan. Need I get into what was wrong with mine???

Shortly after buying the body and making plans to drop off my T-Type to the body shop I got rear-ended and my car was totaled. I of course bought the car back from the insurance company but discovered that the frame was bent, trans. was damaged, drive shaft was bent, and a host of other parts were damaged.

I would've had to replace too many parts so I sold what I could and abandoned the project. This is the only reason the body is for sale. I kept it for a while hoping that another opportunity would arise for me to get another GN dirt cheap that needed to be restored.

This is for a person that ALREADY has or plans to have a turbo Buick that they are trying to fix up/restore. Maybe it has quarter panels that are too badly rusted, or that strange roof rusting issue has occurred.

The good:

Good paint
No rusted through panels
Good roof
Trunk present (no spoiler)
Front windshield
Rear window
No dents
ONLY $1,300 OBO

The bad:

Few places in floor pan that need to be patched
I checked with a few body shops and the price is between $500-$600 to fix (Does NOT need a new floor pan).

Mike i bought this body from you in 2010 from craigslist you told me this body was a RUST FREE ROT FREE FL body shell. after driving from Pittsburgh PA to Alpharetta GA towing my trailer i get there only to find i could put my fist through the inner rocker panels and the outter rockers were DUCT TAPED and primerd flat black to cover the ROT .there was lots of rust issues and to top it off the VIN tag was missing from the body . i lost 2 day of work and close to $1000 in costs ( food fuel and rooms) . i am sorry for posting this in your ad but i hope this may save a wasted trip for someone in need of a clean body . Shawn P.S Mike was nice enough to refund me his selling price of $575 .
